Zyphertek connects hospitals and imaging centers to teleradiologists through a secure, cloud-based PACS. When a study is ordered, the order (an HL7 message from the hospital’s RIS or EHR) flows through our infrastructure into the cloud PACS, so the exam is on the radiologist’s worklist before the images arrive. The images from the CT, MRI, X-ray or ultrasound equipment then travel to the cloud over encrypted connections, along with relevant prior studies and reports.
Radiologists read from anywhere, and their finished reports flow back automatically into the hospital’s systems as HL7 results, often with no changes needed to the hospital’s existing setup. We monitor every step, so missing images, priors and order problems are caught and fixed before they hold up a read.
